Spectator picks and signs a card. Another person is asked if they will use their ESP to help you with a trick. They stop you at a card but it is the wrong card two times. But wait, low and behold the signed card has magically appeared under the spectators glass.
You now show them how you did it, in a comical way, and then do it again, They will not have had a clue how it happened either time. This routine leaves people in awe inspired silence, until you take a bow.

The Card Under Glass review - December 14, 2003
Well, I thought since I was breaking ground and downloading my first bit of magic off the net I'd write up a bit of a review for it too! I chanced upon the youdomagic.com website while following a few links one day...and I just had to take a look at the Card Under Glass routine. I must say, what I recieved was a pleasant surprise!Not only did I get the e-book explaining just how to do the routine, but more importantly I got a video of the routine being performed live for "real" spectators. I say real because these guys aren't paid to be impressed...they REALLY are! And so was I. Although I knew what to expect, I must admit I had to jump back on the video to see it all again! There's a couple of slieghts you'll need to know, but most card fans will have them down pat.
But here's the important part...the slieghts don't make the trick! It's all about performance. I've read a few sections in various books about misdirection, but if you want to see it WORK check out the video! It looks simple when you know how it's done, but that's the great part...it IS simple! A nice effect, a nice piece of misdirection, simple powerful magic! That's what I wanted. And with Card Under Glass I've got a routine I'm looking forward to performing.
The site promises a few more tricks soon, along with the many currently online...and if they're at all like this one, I'll be taking a look for sure. So, if you want a nice peice of straight forward MAGIC (and if you want my two cents worth!) take a look, take a deep breath, and misdirect! Great entertainment, great magic.
